OXFAM AMERICA — Boston, MA
Senior Graphic Designer — February '02 - present
Responsible for the development and implementation of brand identity and all printed materials for global campaigning and development organization. Publications include annual report, Oxfam Exchange magazine (mailed to 150,000+, three times yearly), a wide range of campaign materials, 50+ page reports, corporate and department-specific brochures, and more. Develop branding and materials for Oxfam’s national campaigns. Manage budgets, schedules and printing of all materials. Responsible for professional-quality scanning for vast photographic library. Art-direct freelance designers as necessary.
RAINCASTLE COMMUNICATIONS — Newton, MA
Graphic Designer — August '99 - July 01
Developed brand identities, corporate identities, websites, advertisements, annual reports, collateral and corporate standards manuals for clients in high-tech, financial, retail, and other industries. Worked on small design team to create large-scale, content-heavy website. Was heavily involved in all aspects of site creation, including conceptualization, site architecture, design, usability testing and production. Developed standards for data-graphics appearing in online articles. Created style guide and design specs for all aspects of website. Designed company business cards and stationery.
BAYLY TECHNOLOGIES — Cambridge, MA
Freelance Designer — March '97 - February '98
Worked directly with technology consultant to create web sites for architecture and engineering firms. Transformed designs supplied by print designers into online, interactive format. Presented technological and user-interface issues to print designers, to influence outcome of overall design. Digitally enhanced and altered photographic images.
